Новороссийск
A Project Zomboid map made with KnoxMap.

Turning it on
-------------
1. Start Project Zomboid.
2. Main menu -> Mods, tick this mod, and restart the game if it asks.
3. New game -> the map appears as its own starting region.

If the map is not in the list, close the game completely and start it
again: Build 42 only reads the mods folder at startup.

In the game
-----------
Right-click the ground for "Reset loot" to refill the containers in a
building, or everything within 30 tiles, without starting a new save.

Add it before you start the world
---------------------------------
Turn the mod on first, then make the save. Project Zomboid writes the
world to disk cell by cell as you walk into it, from whatever map was
loaded at the time, so a map added or changed partway through leaves
old cells sitting next to new ones that do not match. That shows up
later as odd failures rather than a clear error, and the only fix is
a new save. The same goes for rebuilding this map: rebuild, reinstall,
start a new world.

On a server, see SERVER SETUP.txt beside this file.

This is a big map
-----------------
165 cells. Project Zomboid gives itself 3 GB of memory by default,
which a map this size can run out of - the map tears, the game slows
and then it closes. To raise it, edit ProjectZomboid64.json in the
game folder (Steam -> right-click Project Zomboid -> Manage -> Browse)
and change the line

    "-Xmx3g",

to a third or so of the memory your PC has - "-Xmx8g" on a 16 GB
machine, "-Xmx16g" on 32 GB. Steam replaces that file when it
verifies the game's files, so check it again after an update.
